2025 Holiday eCard Contest is underway

❄️ It's time for the 2025 CCS Holiday eCard Contest Sponsored by Uwharrie Bank and Edward Jones.

This year, we've removed the digital art category and added a coloring category for both PK-Kindergarten and 1st-2nd Graders. Complete contest rules, entry form, and coloring pages are attached to this post and can also be found here: www.cabarrus.k12.nc.us/holidayecard.

❄️Snowflakes. School Spirit. Student Creativity.❄️

The holidays are here—and so is your chance to shine! Cabarrus County Schools invites all students to design this year’s official Superintendent’s Holiday eCard, inspired by the theme “Snowflakes and School Spirit.”

Whether you love to draw, paint, color, or doodle, this is your moment to share what makes winter—and Cabarrus County Schools—so special. Your artwork could be featured in official CCS holiday greetings sent to families, staff, and community partners across the district!

🎨 Who Can Enter

• Traditional Art Contest: Open to all CCS Elementary, Middle, and High School students.

• Coloring Contest: Open to all CCS PreK, K, 1st, and 2nd grade students using the official CCS coloring page for your student's age division (both PK-K and 1-2).

🏆 Prizes & Recognition

Six winners will be chosen:

• One Overall Winner

• One Traditional Art Winner at each level: Elementary, Middle, and High School

• One Coloring Winner for PK–K

• One Coloring Winner for Grades 1–2

All winners will also receive a prize pack from our amazing sponsors—Uwharrie Bank and Edward Jones—and will be recognized by the Superintendent at the January 12, 2026 Board of Education Meeting.

🕒 Important Dates

• Deadline to submit entries: Monday, December 15, 2025, at Noon

• Winners Notified by Email: Wednesday, December 17, 2025
